National Energy Assistance Day

February 1, 2022, is the inaugural National Energy Assistance Day; this observance is intended to raise awareness about the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and other state and local energy assistance programs. It is also a day to encourage eligible households with unmet energy needs to apply for LIHEAP and other utility assistance programs.
