Timeliness of ACF-800 Data Submissions

Each state and territory must submit the information requested on the ACF-800 by December 31, as stipulated by the statute, for the preceding federal fiscal year. Fiscal years run from October 1 through September 30. For example, the FFY 2017 ACF-800 report, which covers October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 is due December 31, 2017.

ACF regional offices are responsible for monitoring the timeliness of ACF-800 submissions. If a state/territory is unable to meet the deadline for any reason, contact your regional office as soon as the difficulty is known.
