The Child Care Data Viewer, available to CCDF State and Territory grantees, is a software tool to help improve the quality of ACF-801 data and enhance its utilization. To use the Data Viewer on your computer you must have minimum hardware and software requirements, and you must have access to the ACF-801 monthly data files.
This Technical Bulletin lists the data standards for the ACF-801 Child Care Case Record Form. This Form, which is submitted by States and Territories to the Office of Child Care (OCC), includes key case-level data required by the statute governing the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF).
The purpose of this Technical Bulletin is to clarify reporting issues for Tribal grantees that own and operate a child care center (Tribally Operated Center - TOC) to deliver all or part of their child care services funded by Child Care Development Fund (CCDF). The bulletin addresses frequently asked questions that these grantees have raised with the Office of Child Care (OCC), and with the Child Care Automated Reporting System (CARS) Technical Assistance (TA) Team.
