Encourages States, Territories and Tribes to evaluate subsidy policies and quality initiatives as a means to improve program performance, inform policy decisions, and effectively target available child care funds.
This program instruction is to inform Tribal Lead Agencies that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved changes to the annual reporting requirements (i.e., ACF-700 Report), consistent with the terms and conditions of the CCDF program. The revised ACF-700 form is attached.
This Program Instruction (PI) transmits the Quality Progress Report (QPR) (ACF-218) for the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program for the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2020 and provides guidance for completing and submitting the QPR.
The purpose of this Program Instruction is to inform States and Territories that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved changes to the ACF-800 Report that will allow the Office of Child Care to collect and report critical data about the use of any COVID-19 supplemental CCDF funds appropriated by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act, and the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. The form and instructions are attached.
NOTE: ARP Act Stabilization Grants funds or other initiatives funded with CCDF quality dollars (e.g., quality and supply building grants) that are NOT linked to the eligibility of specific families and children ARE NOT to be included in the ACF-800 report as these activities will be reported under other data collection efforts.
This Program Instruction (PI) transmits the revised state/territory Plan Preprint (ACF-118) for the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program for the Fiscal Year 2022-2024 triennium and provides guidance for submitting the Plan. This Plan is required by section 658E of the CCDBG Act.
This purpose of this program instruction is to provide information on the procedures to consolidate the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program with other employment and training funding sources under a P.L. 102-477 plan.
