SUBJECT: Redistribution of CSBG Funds for Fiscal Year 2024

ATTACHMENT(S): CSBG Allocations Redistribution

The purpose of this Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) is to provide an update on the apportionment of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding for fiscal year 2024 (FY24).

The Office of Community Services (OCS) is allocating funds that were offset from the current year's appropriation as a result of administrative actions taken by the Administration for Children and Families. This action is taken under Public Law 118-47, the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024.

The additional funds will be provided to CSBG grant recipients who have not yet reached their maximum allotment permitted for FY24. CSBG grant recipients receiving the additional funding are noted on the attached allocation spreadsheet. All awarded funds must be obligated within the two-year period, which runs concurrently with the two-year project period ending on September 30, 2025. OCS is committed to assisting you in making the most effective use of these resources to benefit your communities.
