Dear Colleague,

The Office of Community Services (OCS), Division of Community Assistance (DCA) is pleased to announce the next phase of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Performance Management (PM) website rollout.

Phased Rollout

In fiscal year 2023 (FY23), DCA implemented the CSBG Performance Management Working Group (PMWG) and held the first in-person meeting in December 2023. DCA worked with the PMWG to better understand how the CSBG network uses data based on the needs of the grant recipient, the CSBG eligible entities within their state, and the communities that they serve.

In March 2024, DCA granted access to CSBG state and territory lead agencies. As CSBG grant recipients, states and territories received first access to familiarize themselves with the website and provide feedback on their use of the website. DCA is implementing updates to the website based on feedback received. DCA encourages CSBG grant recipients to continue to use the website and provide input and feedback to DCA via their Data and Evaluation Specialist

In November 2024, DCA will grant access to State Associations. Initially State Associations will have access to their respective state-level and eligible entity-level data within that state. State Associations will also have access to state-level data across the CSBG network. This is also an opportunity to test the functions of the site and provide feedback to DCA.

In Quarter 3 of FY25, OCS will provide information on the next phases of the rollout to include access to CSBG eligible entities, national training and technical assistance providers, and the public.

Gaining Access

CSBG Data and Evaluation Specialists will email State Associations directly with instructions on how to request an account. Access to the CSBG PM website will be limited to two current staff per State Association. In January, DCA will offer weekly regional calls to offer support to State Associations who have gained access to the website and gather their feedback on the functionality of the CSBG PM website. Additionally, DCA will offer 1-on-1 training to State Associations upon request. More detailed information on the weekly regional calls and optional 1-on-1 training will be provided with the instructions on how to request an account.

Thank you for your attention to these matters. OCS looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality services to OCS partners.
