Dear Colleagues,

The purpose of this message is to provide you with the apportionment status of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022. On March 15, 2022, the President signed into law H.R. 2471, the “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 (P.L. 117-103),” which includes the full allocation of CSBG funding through September 30, 2022. Notification of funds availability is forthcoming.

200 PERCENT ELIGIBILITY THRESHOLD

Per the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 and section 673(2) of the CSBG Act, states may revise the poverty line to not to exceed 125 percent of the official poverty line otherwise applicable under the CSBG Act by substituting ’’200 percent’’ for ’’125 percent’’ for CSBG and CARES funding during FY 2021 (October 1, 2020 — September 30, 2021) and FY 2022 (October 1, 2021 — September 30, 2022).
