Dear Colleague,

The purpose of this Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) is to provide an update on apportionment of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. These awards represent the full allocation of funding for FY 2023, including the return of the 1% which was held at the Secretary’s discretion.

This funding is provided under Public Law 117-328, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, which the President signed into law on December 29, 2022. The attached chart lists the amounts issued to all states, territories, and tribes for FY 2023.
