Re: Partial Release of FY 2018 Funds

Dear Colleagues:

The purpose of this message is to provide you with an update on allocations of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018 (H.R. 1625) was passed by Congress and signed by the President on March 23, 2018, which provided the final budget for FY 2018.

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has released an additional 30-days funding to support CSBG programs pending completion of the budget allotment process. This is being implemented as an interim measure and the remaining third quarter and fourth quarter allocations will be released after completion of the full apportionment process. A chart outlining the amounts allocated to all states, territories, and tribes through April 23, 2018 is attached.
