Dear Colleagues,

In celebration of the work that LIHWAP grant recipients, partners, and stakeholders have accomplished in fiscal year (FY) 2022, the Office of Community Services (OCS) is proud to release:

1. The FY 2022 LIHWAP Snapshot (PDF). The Snapshot is a one-pager highlighting the successes and impact of the first-ever federal water assistance program.  
2. The Final FY 2022 LIHWAP Data Dashboard Update. This update to the LIHWAP Data Dashboard includes report data for the fourth quarter of FY 2022. The LIHWAP Data Dashboard is an information management tool that visually tracks, analyzes, and displays key performance indicators, as well as key data points from both the approved LIHWAP Implementation Plans and the LIHWAP quarterly reports.

LIHWAP Annual Snapshot Release

Today, OCS celebrates the first full year of LIHWAP implementation and congratulates grant recipients and partners on serving approximately 400,000 households in FY 2022. On behalf of this momentous milestone, OCS has released the FY 2022 LIHWAP Snapshot (PDF) to highlight the program’s impact to date. This snapshot includes data on the number of households served, services provided, and water service provider partnerships initiated. The Snapshot also includes short spotlight stories from grant recipients across the country.

LIHWAP Fourth Quarter Data Dashboard Update

OCS released fourth quarter updates to the LIHWAP Data Dashboard on December 12th, 2022. This data is pulled directly from the quarter four reports submitted by LIHWAP grant recipients. This data captures information on LIHWAP assistance provided between July 1, 2022 and September 30, 2022. With this update, LIHWAP grant recipients and members of the public can now explore LIHWAP data from each quarter of FY 2022.

OCS would like to thank our LIHWAP grant recipients for providing the data for the Dashboard and for all your diligent work in FY 2022 to serve families and individuals. We are excited to continue our critical work together throughout FY 2023!
