Dear Colleagues,
November was National Homelessness Awareness Month. OCS wants to draw your attention to one of our innovative demonstration programs that works every day to support children and families who have experienced homelessness or may be at risk of homelessness by increasing access to supportive services in affordable housing.
This program addresses the multifaceted nature of poverty, homelessness, and housing instability by providing individuals and families with low incomes access to supportive services in affordable housing.
This National Homelessness Awareness Month, OCS is announcing a second cohort of Affordable Housing and Supportive Services Demonstration (AHSSD) grant recipients. We are thrilled to award 8 grant recipients with a total of $1,992,281.
