The purpose of this communication is to provide you with the apportionment of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021. These awards represent the full allocation of available funding for FY 2021. Please note that the CSBG allocation amounts currently reflect a 1% reduction due to the Secretary’s authority to transfer funding to HHS’s discretionary accounts.

The purpose of this message is to provide you with an update on the fourth quarter allocations of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds for fiscal year (FY) 2016. These awards represent the final release of funding to date for FY 2016. A chart is attached to show the full-year CSBG allocations along with the total amount allocated and released for the first, second, and third quarters of FY 2016.

We, at the Office of Community Services (OCS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) would like to invite CSBG grantees to a series of web meetings to provide updates on the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) State Plan Application (State Plan). On November 17, 2017, a Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) notice for public comment was posted to the Federal Register in volume 82, number 221, and page 54348.

These awards represent the final release of funding to date for FY 2018. A chart is attached to show the full-year CSBG allocations along with the total amount allocated and released during the first, second, and third quarters of FY 2018.

As part of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Performance Management Framework, the Office of Community Services (OCS) analyzed the progress on the CSBG federal accountability measures[1] for federal fiscal year (FFY) 2018. The purpose of this Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) is to share the results of our efforts and the FFY 2019 goals.

This message to provide an update on performance management efforts in the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG).  The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is taking administrative steps to support high quality services delivery across the CSBG network.

The purpose of this message is to provide you with an update and solicit your feedback on the development of new organizational standards and performance management tools for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Network.  In addition, as outlined later in this message, the Office of Community Services (OCS) is seeking feedback about what state measures should be designated as “critical key measures” to be implemented in the short-term as part of an enhanced performance management system.

The purpose of this message is to provide you with an update on allocations of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds during the first quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2015. Based on the Continuing Resolution (CR) passed by Congress and signed by the President on September 23, 2014, CSBG funds will be allocated through December 31, 2014, based on the previous year's CSBG State allocations. A chart outlining the amounts allocated to all States, Territories, and Tribes through December 31, 2014, is attached. Final FY 2015 award amounts will be determined after passage of a full-year appropriation.
