The Office of Community Services (OCS) has prepared Information Memorandum (IM) 134 dated May 5, 2014 as guidance to States and Territories regarding the release of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) State Assessment schedule.
The Office of Community Services (OCS) is issuing Information Memorandum (IM) 135 clarifying a technical issue related to the use of CSBG funds as match for the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
As part of a strengthened performance management and accountability framework for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), the Office of Community Services is releasing a new draft Information Memorandum (IM) on State and Federal accountability measures. The attached draft IM includes proposed measures intended to ensure that both State and Federal administrators of CSBG are accountable to high standards of performance management. It is our expectation that these State and Federal accountability measures will be implemented alongside the new organizational standards for Community Action Agencies.
