This message provides additional detail on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Annual Report requirements. This includes a discussion of reporting related to regularly appropriated CSBG (referred to as regular CSBG) as well as the supplemental CSBG grants awarded as a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020 (referred to as CSBG CARES) and the Additional Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act of 2019 (referred to as Disaster Supplemental).
The Office of Community Services (OCS), within the Administration for Children and Families, will fund 13 one-year cooperative agreements under the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) Program for State Exemplary Practice Projects (EPPs) supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).

The purpose of this Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) is to inform States that the Office of Community Services (OCS) has identified a solution to extend the CARES obligation deadline for administrative and discretionary funds from September 30, 2021 to September 30, 2022.
The purpose of this letter is to provide an update for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Annual Reports, including the CSBG Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Supplemental Annual Report and the CSBG Disaster Supplemental Annual Report.

The purpose of this DCL is to remind CSBG state, territory and tribal lead agencies and eligible entities of flexibilities and resources available to support hurricane preparedness and response. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts another above-average Atlantic hurricane season (which is inclusive of the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean Sea)
