To inform states and U.S. territories of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) application requirements for Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) funds. States and territories must submit their CARES Act state plan applications to the Office of Community Service (OCS) by September 1, 2020 using the approved CSBG CARES Act Supplemental State Plan format.

The purpose of this message is to provide the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) grantees with an update on the allocations for the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2021.

This message provides additional detail on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Annual Report requirements. This includes a discussion of reporting related to regularly appropriated CSBG (referred to as regular CSBG) as well as the supplemental CSBG grants awarded as a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020 (referred to as CSBG CARES) and the Additional Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act of 2019 (referred to as Disaster Supplemental).

The purpose of this message is to provide you with an update on the third and fourth quarter allocations of Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) funds for the remainder of fiscal year (FY) 2013.

Model Plan Application for LIHEAP Funding for Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 (Application deadline Wednesday, September 1, 2021)

The Office of Community Services (OCS), Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is informing CSBG State Administrators regarding a temporary adjustment of CSBG Program Specialist regional assignments. The temporary assignments will be through the end of Fiscal Year (FY) September 30, 2021. In addition, OCS wants to remind State Administrators of the CSBG Quarterly Calls schedule during July 2021.
