The Office of Community Services (OCS) requests feedback from the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Network on the proposed revision of the CSBG Annual Report. On April 26, 2021, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published the second notice for public comment on the CSBG Annual Report, CSBG CARES Supplemental Annual Report, and CSBG Disaster Supplemental Annual Report, which is available here. Please note: these CSBG Annual Reports are approved. This clearance is specifically to continue collecting the information included in these reports.
The purpose of this Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) is to provide you with an update on apportionment of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021. These awards represent the full allocation of funding for FY 2021, including the return of the 1% which was held at the Secretary’s discretion.
PURPOSE: To provide tribes and tribal organizations instructions on how to complete and submit the FY 2020 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) Annual Report.
This Information Memorandum highlights how Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) grantees and local eligible entities (commonly referred to as Community Action Agencies or “CAAs”) can play a vital role in strengthening and advancing COVID-19 vaccination efforts and increasing community awareness, as CAAs serve as trusted entities in communities and reach 99% of U.S. counties.
The purpose of this message is to provide you with an update on the fourth quarter allocations of the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) funds for fiscal year (FY) 2015.
