Many CED grantees are using their CED grant funding to implement food-related projects as a way to create business and employment opportunities for individuals with low-income. These projects develop grocery stores, restaurants, food distribution centers, urban gardens, and other businesses. Many of these projects were funded under the CED Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI).
