  • Administration for Native Americans
    This agency is charged with providing a human services central repository and program support to Native populations.
  • Native Asset Building Initiative (NABI)
    The Native American Asset-Building Initiative is a partnership between the Administration for Native Americans (ANA) and Office of Community Services (OCS). The Initiative focuses on building the capacity of tribes and Native organizations to effectively plan projects and develop competitive applications for funding under the Office of Community Services' Assets for Independence (AFI) program.
  • Tribal Consultation Policy for U.S. Department of Health & Human Services 
    This policy outlines how the Secretary of HHS and Senior Principals of the agency will engage Tribal Leaders in the development of health and human services policy.
  • Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services
    Federally recognized Tribes, by U.S. Treaty, are to be engaged by the U.S. government in a government-to-government agency as sovereign entities. IEA facilitates many interactions with Tribes and Tribal organizations in general operation with HHS that may be non-program specific.
