Overview
The Resilient Families Hub is a new initiative of the Office of Family Assistance and exists to understand the role of direct cash transfers in advancing economic stability and mobility in the United States. The Hub works with federal, state, and local governments and community-based organizations to provide subject matter expertise, research findings and evidence-based policies and practices around the targeted use of direct cash.

The Office of Family Assistance (OFA) has posted the fiscal year (FY) 2023 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) financial data tables, along with an interactive map, national  (PDF)and state pie charts (PDF).

 

These tables provide demographic data on the age, gender, and race/ethnicity of adults and children in TANF and Separate   State Program (SSP)-Maintenance-of-Effort (MOE) active families and closed cases, as well as data on the financial circumstances of TANF cash assistance recipients.
