The HPOG Employer Driven Career Pathways video features Montefiore HPOG, an HPOG grantee at the forefront of meeting healthcare workforce challenges in its community. The video shows how Montefiore works closely with employer partners and other stakeholders in the borough of the Bronx in order to start their participants on a career pathway and address the critical need for qualified home health aides who can provide competent, compassionate care.

The new HPOG Participant Pathway 2D animation brings to life the pathway participants follow to financial self-sufficiency. The video gives an overview of the program from participant engagement, enrollment, and training to career readiness, graduation, and employment.

The newest video from HPOG features HPOG partners in Buffalo, NY that demonstrate the impact thoughtful investment by HPOG instructors has on participant success. HPOG instructors are more than just teachers. They are industry veterans helping students in and out of the classroom by offering additional tutoring, communicating student needs with HPOG case managers, and supporting post-certification education and employment.

This video highlights participant success stories. It is intended as a tool for grantees to raise awareness and therefore attract and recruit new participants into their programs.

Jenna Summerhill was selected to speak at the 2013 Health Professional Opportunity Grants (HPOG) Annual Grantee Meeting on November 6th. Jenna shared her personal struggles and explains the positive impact the HPOG program has had on her life.
