The purpose of this program Instruction is to provide State agencies with (a) reporting requirements for the work measures and (b) the quarterly submission dates for transmitting monthly files of adult TANF recipients necessary to compute HPB scores.

 

This Program Instruction advises States and other interested parties of the measures and formula the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) intends to use in making FY 2001 awards based on State performance in FY 2000.  This transmittal also specifies revised time frames for reporting the FY 1999 and FY 2000 performance data.

This Program Instruction clarifies the March 17, 1998 guidance (TANF-ACF-PI-98-1) on the measures and formula we intend to use for awarding the FY 1999 High Performance bonuses and to provide State agencies the reporting form and instructions for submitting aggregate data in order to compete for these bonus awards.  Where this Program Instruction reflects changes/clarifications to the March 17, 1998 guidance, it supersedes that earlier guidance.

2013 High Performance Measures.

The purpose of this Program Instruction is to request that States submit FY 2006 data necessary to calculate the work measures previously reported under the High Performance Bonus Program.

The purpose of this Program Instruction is to provide State agencies with a modified reporting form (ACF-200) and instructions for submitting their quarterly aggregate data for the third year of the HPB awards (FY 2001).

This Program Instruction sets forth revised standard procedures for resolving disagreements over state-submitted caseload and expenditure data used to establish the amount of a TFAG.  This issuance supersedes and rescinds the original PI on this topic (see TANF-ACF-PI-01-04 dated August 23, 2001).  A new PI is necessary because of a reorganization of the Office of Family Assistance and the need to clarify certain aspects of the process.
