Tribal TANF Caseload Data for Fiscal Year 2012

The purpose of this Program Instruction is to request that states submit data necessary to calculate the work measures previously reported under the High Performance Bonus (HPB) and advise them of the submission timetable for FY 2013 data.  The previous PIs requesting this information and providing the relevant submission timetable are set forth in the reference section above.

This Policy Announcement provides state agencies with guidance on submitting caseload reduction credit information necessary to reduce a state's minimum TANF participation rate requirements. It also transmits form ACF-202, the form and instructions that states must use to report caseload reduction information in fiscal year 2000 and thereafter.

This Program Instruction provides State agencies the uniform reporting procedures, generic sampling specifications, and file formats for the databases and transmission files for the Emergency TANF Data Report.

The Office of Family Assistance (OFA) has posted pie charts for the 50 states and the District of Columbia showing the distribution of  Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and state Maintenance of Effort (MOE) spending and transfers by category in FY 2014.
