This program instruction (PI) revises and supersedes NEW-ACF-PI 2011-01. It provides guidance on submission of program, financial, and audit reports covering the NEW program, replacing outdated guidance from Program Instruction NEW-ACF-PI-2011-01. Additionally, guidance is added regarding electronic filing of reports as directed by OGM-AT-13-01.

Since its start, the Next Steps II Project (Next Steps) has placed a high value on employer engagement. The HPOG-funded program develops and maintains strong local partnerships. These employer partnerships allow Next Steps to prepare high-quality healthcare workers with the necessary skills to best serve their community.

Monthly TANF Contingency Funds Awards by State and Federal Fiscal Year for 2018

The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) in Pennsylvania works to connect low-income individuals and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients with one of its many healthcare training programs. The Pathway to Success in Healthcare Grant (PSH) program allows CCAC to extend its outreach to people and places often overlooked.

Volunteers of America Texas HPOG Program (VOATX) helps inspire HPOG participants to see their own potential. The program provides opportunities for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients and other low-income persons in Houston, Texas, to get education, vocational training, and living wage employment in high-demand positions in the healthcare industry.

For TTCW grantees who have a change in the Project Director, an amendment must be submitted requesting approval for the individual being selected. Please utilize the attached instructions to submit a change in PI/PD amendment in www.grantsolutions.gov . If you have additional questions, please contact your Program Specialist.
