The purpose of this Program Instruction is to request that states submit data necessary to calculate the work measures previously reported under the High Performance Bonus (HPB) and advise them of the submission timetable for FY 2015 data. The previous PIs requesting this information and providing the relevant submission timetable are set forth in the reference section above.
This Information Memorandum discusses opportunities for TANF agencies to strengthen program outcomes by developing two-generation approaches, which meet the needs of children and parents together.
The report provides data through Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 and presents information regarding TANF expenditures and caseloads, work participation and earnings, the characteristics and financial circumstances of TANF recipients, TANF performance measures, interactions between TANF and child support, as well as specific provisions of state TANF programs.
