OHSEPR provides guidance to federal partners, states, tribes, grantees, and other service providers. The office produces information memoranda, fact sheets, and other policy documents to provide guidance to repatriation and disaster human services grantees, federal and state partners, and other stakeholders assisting repatriates and disaster survivors, to expand details of its programs and services.
Disaster Human Services
The ACF Emergency and Disaster Waivers and Flexibilities document was developed by OHSEPR in collaboration with ACF Program Offices to emphasize an all-hazards approach and contains programmatic and administrative information on each ACF program that has emergency waivers and flexibilities.
This Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) features four Administration for Children and Families (ACF) programs whose funding may be used to provide post-disaster housing assistance following a natural disaster: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), and Social Services Block Grant (SSBG). The DCL includes information on types of post-disaster housing assistance, eligibility, and program contact information.
Repatriation
The Routine Repatriation Information Memorandum provides policy guidance on the U.S. Repatriation Program to Federal agencies, states, territories, local service providers, and grantees.
