The U.S. Repatriation Program: Multi-Year Training and Exercise Plan (MYTEP) sets the strategic vision and tactical direction for building the capacity of the U.S. Repatriation Program. This document enables the Program to effectively serve U.S. citizens and their dependents.

Capacity refers to the ability to effectively serve U.S. citizens and their dependents through completion of activities in the emergency repatriation lifecycle. Robust capacity building requires coordination and engagement from the entire emergency repatriation ecosystem, defined as interagency, state, local, and non-governmental partners involved in emergency repatriation activities. The MYTEP details the priorities and activities for capacity building for all ecosystem partners over a five-year period through the process of continuous improvement. Organizations with a role in executing emergency repatriation operations may use this document to guide their internal capacity building efforts and facilitate coordination across external capacity building activities.
