Amanda Barlow, Director

Photo of Amanda Barlow, Director, Office of Legislative Affairs and Budget (OLAB) Amanda Barlow is the Director of the Office of Legislative Affairs and Budget (OLAB) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF).

Previously, Ms. Barlow served as the Director of OLAB's Division of Budget from November 2010 until January 2017. She also served in the roles of Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration from December 2015 to October 2016 and as the OLAB Acting Director for several months in 2014 and again in 2016. From February to May 2017, Barlow served as ACF’s Acting Assistant Secretary.

She joined ACF in 1994 as a Presidential Management Intern. Ms. Barlow has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College.
