OPRE periodically convenes experts to build understanding in ACF and the field more broadly of timely topics related to welfare, employment, and self-sufficiency. Experts may contribute multiple types of expertise, including technical, content, practical, and lived expertise. These convenings may inform OPRE’s current and future research and evaluation work, among other purposes. Expert convenings do not seek consensus advice from the assembled experts; rather, they seek a variety of perspectives to inform OPRE’s work. Learn more about recent expert convenings by exploring their summaries and related materials.
