Health Profession Opportunity Grants (HPOG) Implementation, Systems and Outcome Project, 2010-2017

This project provided recommendations for the design of an evaluation to assess implementation, systems change, and outcomes of the 27 non-tribal Health Profession Opportunity Grants (HPOG) 1.0 programs (those awarded in 2010). Additionally this project built and provided ongoing support for the HPOG Performance Reporting System, a web-based management information system, to track grantee progress for program management and to record grantee and participant data for use in the evaluation.

This project released annual reports which summarize HPOG 1.0 program operations and participant activities and outcomes, and also drafted several literature reviews and special topics reports.

This work was conducted through a contract to Abt Associates and its subcontractor The Urban Institute.

The point of contact is Hilary Forster.
