The Next Steps for Tribal TANF Research and Data project aims to hear directly from American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) communities about their experiences with the Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, including their challenges and successes, and their recommendations for future directions for Tribal TANF data and research. Activities include gathering information on programs’ research interests and their needs and experiences related to TANF data collection, submission, and use. ACF will use this information to inform future directions for Tribal TANF research, data-related technical assistance, and related programs.

The contract was awarded to MEF Associates.
