Adapting an Evidence-based Curriculum in a Rural Setting: The Early Impacts of Reducing the Risk in Kentucky

Introduction

This report summarizes short-term impact findings from rural high schools in Kentucky implementing an adapted version of Reducing the Risk, a comprehensive sex education program. The study findings indicate that the adapted version of Reducing the Risk had short-term impacts on some but not all of the program’s targeted outcomes.
