Introduction
This is the fourth of nine modules in the Continuous Quality Improvement Toolkit: A Resource for Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program Awardees (CQI Toolkit). The toolkit supports MIECHV awardees and others in working with local agencies to build capacity in CQI. Modules may be delivered individually by CQI staff or as part of a multiday training activity.
Module 4 helps participants—
- Identify the elements of a SMART aim
- Evaluate SMART aims
- Create a SMART aim
As with all modules in the CQI Toolkit, Module 4 contains a facilitation guide, PowerPoint slides with facilitation notes, and handouts and activities for participants. For example, Module 4 includes a handout to help participants create their own SMART aims. Use the box to the right to access the module components.
