Introduction

This is the eighth of nine modules in the Continuous Quality Improvement Toolkit: A Resource for Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program Awardees (CQI Toolkit). The toolkit supports MIECHV awardees and others in working with local agencies to build capacity in CQI. Modules may be delivered individually by CQI staff or as part of a multiday training activity.

Module 8 helps participants—

  • Describe key driver diagrams
  • Explain how key driver diagrams are used in CQI
  • Create key driver diagrams
  • Use key driver diagrams in CQI

As with all modules in the CQI Toolkit, Module 8 contains a facilitation guide, PowerPoint slides with facilitation notes, and handouts and activities for participants. For example, Module 8 includes an activity to practice creating a key driver diagram. Use the box to the right to access the module components.
