The family services staff parent measure (English version; revised April 2015) is for parents to complete about the Head Start/Early Head Start family services staff (FSS) member (referred to as the Family Service Worker (FSW) in the measure) who serves their family.  This English version of the measure asks parents questions about how they work with their FSW. It includes 76 items (including nine demographic items) and takes about 10 minutes to complete, on average.

The family services staff parent measure (Spanish version; revised April 2015) is for parents to complete about the Head Start/Early Head Start family services staff (FSS) member (referred to as the Family Service Worker (FSW) in the measure) who serves their family.  This Spanish version of the measure asks parents questions about how they work with their FSW. It includes 76 items (including nine demographic items) and takes about 10 minutes to complete, on average.

The Excel scoring sheet for the family services staff (FSS) parent measure (revised April 2015) can be used to automatically calculate overall, construct, and subscale scores. It is available in English and Spanish. The English and Spanish versions of the Excel scoring sheet are exactly the same, with the exception of the language of the question stem. Both English and Spanish versions of the FSS parent measure can be entered into the same Excel scoring sheet for the FSS parent measure.

Additional information on scoring is available in the Family and Provider/Teacher Relationship Quality Measures: Updated User’s Manual as well as the Family Services Staff and Family Services Staff Parent Measures: Amendment to the FPTRQ User’s Manual.
