The parent measure (English version) is intended for parents of children birth through five years old who are cared for by providers or teachers in a center-based, family child care, or Head Start/Early Head Start program.  This English version of the measure asks parents general questions about how they work with their child’s lead provider or teacher (not aides or assistant teachers).  It includes 75 items (including eight demographic items) and takes about 10 minutes to complete, on average.

The Excel scoring sheet for English version of the parent measure (revised April 2015) can be used to automatically calculate overall, construct, and subscale scores in the parent measure. It is available in English and Spanish. The English and Spanish versions of the Excel scoring sheet are exactly the same, with the exception of the language of the question stem. Both English and Spanish versions of the parent measure can be entered into the same Excel scoring sheet for the parent measure.
