Do you support facilitators who work with youth? Are you looking for ways to help them develop their facilitation skills to better engage youth and deepen learning? A free, three-module curriculum was designed to help facilitators of youth-serving programs improve the quality of their facilitation skills. It was developed as part of a formative evaluation conducted by Mathematica and its partner Public Strategies in conjunction with two community-based organizations.
The webinar includes:
- how and why the curriculum was developed
- a spotlight on the resources included in the curriculum
- an overview to help participants understand how the curriculum can be used to foster facilitators’ development
- a testimonial from a facilitator from one community-based organization that helped test and refine the curriculum
- a question-and-answer period with the webinar audience
The speakers include:
- Erin Welch, Researcher, Mathematica
- Scott Roby, Senior Project Manager, Public Strategies
- Mary Ann Slanina, Stronger Youth Program Manager, Youth and Family Services
Purpose:
