Building Public Awareness During Human Trafficking Prevention Month
January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month (HTPM), a presidentially designated observance that raises awareness about human trafficking and empowers the public to take action in preventing and responding to it. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) theme for 2025 is Connecting the Dots. Strengthening Communities. Preventing Trafficking.
Successful awareness building relies on engaging with our partners on every level through different mediums. In this webinar, OTIP will discuss communications planning and awareness building for January. The webinar will provide an overview of the HTPM resources and share foundational principals for public awareness and outreach.
