Training: Enhancing a Trauma-Informed Investigative Approach to Interviewing Victims of Crime in the Black Community

The Office of Law Enforcement and Security invites Department of the Interior (DOI) and external agencies law enforcement and first responders to attend Enhancing a Trauma-Informed Investigative Approach to Interviewing Victims of Crime in the Black Community.

When: January 29, 2020, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Metro-accessible location to be determined based on number of participants.

There is no registration fee for the training; however, DOI personnel should coordinate with their bureau's Victim Assistance Program coordinator to determine whether travel costs can be supported. DOI bureaus, other offices, and agency points of contact should coordinate with interested personnel and submit one list with the first/last name, title, agency, and email address to Valerie_Jacobs@ios.doi.gov no later than January 9, 2020.
