The President has announced seven members of the United States Advisory Council on Human Trafficking . We would like to welcome and congratulate the following new members of the Council:
- Marlene Carson, of Ohio
- Rachel Thomas, of California
- Tanya Street, of Virginia
- Andrea Hipwell, of Georgia
- Courtney Litvak, of Texas
- Brenda Myers-Powell, of Illinois
- Suleman Masood, of California
Each member is a survivor of human trafficking, and together they represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. The Council provides a formal platform for survivors to advise and make recommendations on federal anti-trafficking policies to the President’s Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons. We look forward to collaborating with this group over the next two years!
