Florida County Department of Health Spreads Awareness with Look Beneath the Surface Campaign

Fox4 anchor with image of Look Beneath the Surface poster The Florida Department of Health in Collier County is raising awareness about human trafficking using materials from the HHS Look Beneath the Surface Campaign. They will be distributing 6,000 educational and awareness brochures, pamphlets, fliers, posters, assessment cards and pocket cards to health care providers and other organizations to recognize the signs of human trafficking and connect individuals to services. They will also be working with Collier County public schools to pass out pocket cards for students seeking assistance for issues including runaway, suicide, and human trafficking.
