Get Ready for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

March 15, 2019

Borrowed from the 2019 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Guide:

The National Center for Victims of Crime, in conjunction with the DOJ Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), have released the 2019 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Guide . This annual suite of resources includes a variety of user-friendly sample materials, current statistics, professional artwork, and tutorials—all designed to help you quickly and capably develop and implement public awareness campaigns for NCVRW and throughout the year.

NCVRW will be commemorated April 7–13, 2019. This year’s theme—Honoring Our Past. Creating Hope for the Future.—celebrates the progress made by those before us as we look to a future of crime victim services that is even more inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed.

Join OVC and communities across the United States this April to raise awareness of victims’ rights and services, highlight local programs, celebrate progress achieved, and honor victims and the professionals who serve them.
