ACF Region IV Partners with Catholic Charities of Louisville to Host Labor Trafficking Conference

Two men landscaping; supervisor watches in backgroundThrough the Southeast Regional Human Trafficking Advisory Group, ACF Region IV is partnering with the Bakhita Empowerment Initiative of Catholic Charities of Louisville to host a Labor Trafficking Conference in Louisville, Kentucky from October 24 – 25, 2018. The conference will focus on increasing the capacity of organizations to respond to labor trafficking, addressing trends specific to labor trafficking, and highlighting challenges related to labor trafficking through a problem-solving lens. Conference registration opened on May 1, 2018 and costs $200 until September 1, 2018. Register online at www.cclou.org/labor. The call for workshop proposals has opened and requests will be accepted through May 17, 2018. Selected presenters will be notified by July 1, 2018 so submit your request now!

Update 5/22: The Request for Workshop Proposal deadline has been extended to June 1, 2018.
