The White House has released the National Strategy to Advance Equity, Justice, and Opportunity for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) Communities. The Strategy includes action plans from 32 federal agencies and builds on the Biden-Harris Administration’s broader equity agenda.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Agency Plan Fact Sheet (PDF) outlines how HHS will continue to invest in efforts to strengthen AA and NHPI health equity, including by addressing human trafficking in these communities. HHS will develop programs to deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate services for AA and NHPI communities affected by human trafficking and increase access for AA and NHPI-serving organizations to apply for and receive funding to implement these services.
