British Columbia Correspondence and Payment Processing Information

Correspondence:  British Columbia has two agencies that are involved in international child support case processing: Interjurisdictional Support Services (IJSS); and the BC Family Maintenance Enforcement Program (FMEP).

State agencies should send support applications and registrations for British Columbia to the IJSS. After an order is registered for enforcement, all further correspondence should be sent to the FMEP:

Include British Columbia’s case number and the debtor/obligor's first and last name on all payments and correspondence.
