Three-Year Anniversary of the American Rescue Plan Act.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Community Services (OCS), Division of Community Assistance (DCA) announces the release of more than $257 million of fiscal year 2024 (FY24) regular block grant funding to Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) grant recipients. This Dear Colleague Letter serves to notify grant recipients that these funds are available for drawdown in the Payment Management System. This funding is provided under the Public Law 118-35, the Further Additional Continuing Appropriations Act and Other Extensions Act, 2024 (Continuing Resolution [CR]), which the President signed into law on January 19, 2024.

As part of the Office of Community Services (OCS), Division of Community Assistance’s (DCA) commitment to strengthening direct, federal training and technical assistance (TTA), we are pleased to offer Consultation Office Hours and two Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) sessions during the National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP) 2024 Winter Training Conference themed Turning Possibilities into Reality, scheduled March 11—15, 2024, in Arlington, Virginia.

On behalf of the Children's Interagency Coordinating Council (CICC), the American Institutes for Research is recruiting a diverse group of 20 individuals with lived experience to inform and support the work of the CICC. Potential applicants must be at least 18 years old and be available up to 20 hours from March 2024 through December 2024. Lived experts will be competitively compensated for their time and effort and offered training and support. The application deadline is Friday, February 23, 2024, at 5 pm EST.  There are two information session on February 13 and 15, 2024.
