Improving Implementation Research Methods for Behavioral and Social Science, 2010 ACF, along with other federal partners (Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, Centers for Disease Control's Division of Violence Prevention, National Institute for Drug Abuse and the National Institute for Mental Health, all at the Department of Health and Human Services, and Institute for Education Sciences at the Department of Education,) convened a meeting to examine the state of methods in implementation research in social and behavioral sciences. The meeting included presentations on: an overview of implementation research, frameworks, measures and analytic techniques. The goal of the meeting was to understand the state of knowledge around methods in implementation research and how to build a research agenda to address any identified gaps.
